Flourish CDC, Springfield, MO seeks a Program Director to be a leading presence, encourager, and connector for programming. The program director must have a strong faith and conviction for serving WITH our neighbors in need, investing in forsaken communities, and the ability to encourage others.
Programming that Flourish CDC operates include, a crisis food pantry, a transitional house for women, life skills classes (Jobs for Life, Faith & Finances), discipleship classes (Story of God), and it is getting ready to engage a new community, within Springfield, with a host of new opportunities.
The program director works on multiple fronts and will need to engage a variety of people. The director recruits and trains volunteers, finds and engages participants, and shares outcomes with a variety of interested parties.
The program director will recognize success as referral rates from program participants increase, as participants express leadership in their homes and communities, and as volunteer retention and referrals remain strong.
The ideal program director will possess: a professional degree or experience in CCD or faith reliant social services; a dynamic strategy and vision for empowering others to thrive; strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to adapt and innovate approaches to programming; faith in Jesus, hope for the world, and a readiness for second chances.
