CCDA exists to strengthen and inspire Christian Community Development practitioners as they seek the flourishing of their communities through faithful presence, practice, and partnership. Our annual National Conference is a primary space for equipping, and workshops are one of the most meaningful ways participants engage best practices, deepen their understanding of CCD, and wrestle with the theology that animates our work. We believe practitioners are best equipped by fellow practitioners, and the lived wisdom of CCDA members is one of our greatest collective assets. Our RFP process is our way of ensuring that we have learning opportunities that explore fresh ways of holistically equipping practitioners for community flourish.
Our Workshop RFP process is now closed. Presenters will be notified about their proposal submission in May.
Submission opportunities will reopen in early 2027 for our 2027 National Conference in Madison, Wisconsin. Thank you for all of your wonderful submissions. We are excited to learn from you at the conference!
FAQ
Only current CCDA members are eligible to submit proposals. Membership must be maintained through the completion of the conference. Proposals submitted by non-members will not be considered.
Learning opportunities for the CCDA National Conference are selected through a peer, double-blind review process designed to ensure quality, fairness, and diverse representation. A team of experienced former presenters and volunteers evaluates proposals based on shared proposal criteria. After proposals are reviewed and scored, CCDA staff conduct a final alignment review to ensure a balanced mix of topics, voices, and perspectives across the conference with the selection team. This process helps shape a learning experience that is thoughtful, rigorous, and reflective of the diversity of the CCDA community.
Our RFP process is currently closed until 2027. Please check back in early 2027 for more information.
