Presenters: Alexia Salvatierra & Vanessa Martinez

Vanessa Martinez Soltero is a co-leader for the Puentes Network in Southern California. Puentes (bridges) are Latinx and BIPOC young leaders bridging power dynamics, culture and calling for sustainable and equitable justice. She is also an organizer for Matthew 25 So Cal, a Christian, bipartisan movement that stands and walks with the vulnerable in the name of Jesus. Vanessa has been working in advocacy and community organizing over 10 years. She earned a bachelor’s in psychology from Vanguard University of Southern California. Vanessa was born in Ensenada, Mexico and currently lives in Orange County, CA.
