Description
Scripture is full of violence. As practitioners, it can be confusing to know how to respond to questions about that violence, especially when it seems God sanctioned or blessed. As participants walk through this workshop, they will have the opportunity to reimagine the place and purpose of the violence in the old and new testament. Through the lens of a holistic and redemptive hermeneutic, this workshop will give practitioners a scriptural foundation for what it means to be people of peace alongside their communities as they have faith in and work towards the establishment of God’s kingdom.
