CCDA is an association of Christians who are partnering with God and our neighbors to see our communities flourish. At the heart of Christian Community Development is the church, the body of Christ, fully engaged in the process of transformation. We want to help provide resources to help you as you serve with, love, and live in your community.
Here you will find blogs, podcasts, and products created by and for church leaders. We have encouragement for when you need it, member discounts that can help you in your work, theological and practical teachings, and more.
Learn From CCD Practitioners
We are grateful to be able to learn from each other. Here are some ways that you can learn from other church leaders within CCDA.
Free Resource
How can your church live out the CCD philosophy in a way that reflects your unique community?
In this inspiring session, you’ll imagine what’s possible, hear from leaders who’ve contextualized CCD in their own congregations, and take steps toward deep community partnership. This session will encourage bold imagination and practical insight for moving your congregation from community isolation to community engagement.
Connect With Others
Sometimes it’s easy to feel alone in this work. But the good news is that you’re not alone. We have a number of opportunities for you to connect with people locally and around the country who have shared interests.
Church-Based CCD Network
This network is designed specifically for churches that are eager to learn about and implement Christian Community Development (CCD) principles. This network offers a unique opportunity to connect with fellow church leaders, share insights, and explore new strategies for community engagement and empowerment.
Flourishing Congregations Initiative
CCDA’s Flourishing Congregations Initiative is a four-year program that helps congregations deepen their engagement in the community. We will grow in discerning with our neighbors where Christ is already at work in our community and partnering with our neighbors to create long-term, positive change.
FCI is based on decades of Christian Community Development best practices to help our community flourish.
