Gen Z is sounding the alarm when it comes to mental health challenges. Now more than ever, it’s important that adults are aware of the state of youth mental health today.
From the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic, social media pressures, climate anxiety, and systemic barriers for BIPoC and LGBTQ+ youth, young people are deeply affected by the world around them. This toolkit aims to provide you with updated information and resources on the current mental health experienced by young people, as well as provide you with specific stats on mental health outcomes for BIPoC youth.
Because supportive adult relationships are one of the key protective factors for positive mental health outcomes for youth, we thank you for endeavoring to learn more in hopes of better supporting the young people in your life. Join us in our call to action to support young people in their pursuit of mental wellness in our trying times.
