Taking into account the drastic and violent increase in immigration enforcement and the rhetoric and misinformation that empower such action, this workshop will be an engaged dialogue for practitioners to 1) better understand current immigration realities, 2) know how to communicate these realities clearly to churches and community members, and 3) learn from each other in how to best care for vulnerable refugee/immigrant communities.
