We reached out to CCDA members and organizations in Texas after the brutal winter storm 2 weeks ago and asked for ways in which our association could help. You will find a curated list here – all the initiatives/organizations below are members of CCDA or affiliated with members of CCDA in some way. This list will be updated as we hear from more practitioners.
In particular, we are always amazed at the ability of practitioners to reimagine, rebuild, and recreate alongside their communities after devastation. Read this blog by CCDA member, Roy Rhodes, about his church’s quick pivot to become a warming station during the storm.
