Every time you cross my mind, I break out in exclamations of thanks to God. Each exclamation is a trigger to prayer. I find myself praying for you with a glad heart. I am so pleased that you have continued on in this with us, believing and proclaiming God’s Message, from the day you heard it right up to the present. There has never been the slightest doubt in my mind that the God who started this great work in you would keep at it and bring it to a flourishing finish on the very day Christ Jesus appears. Philippians 1:3-6
During the past 6½ years that I have served in the CCDA national office, I have been blessed to meet and/or communicate with so many of you – our CCDA Practitioners and Partners. Reading these verses from Philippians together at a recent staff meeting, many of you raced through my mind reminding me of this amazing network and family of people we are all a part of called CCDA.
Please join me during this season of Thanksgiving in following Paul’s example:
- “Every time you cross my mind, I break out in exclamations of thanks to God” – Every time you think of a fellow CCDA member, pause and give thanks. Consider sending a note of thanks to that person.
- “Each exclamation is a trigger to prayer” – Allow every pause and spontaneous exclamation of thanks to trigger a prayer for that person.
- “I find myself praying for you with a glad heart.” – Pray with an attitude of joy and praise.
Every time you cross my mind … I will pray for you.
