Many faith communities want to bring about the wellbeing of their community through engaging public schools. OAGroup’s will share it’s framework for how it engages churches in civic engagement and societal wellbeing through identifying and organizing sustainable church and school partnerships that promote educational equity, where it utilizes community listening to the schools, asset based community development through mutuality, and faith-rooted community organizing to address everything from immediate needs, student achievement, family engagement, and staff support in a way that fosters partnership with the school and it’s staff within the attendees unique context.
