Description
Urban Ag is a “growing movement” in American cities as access to healthy food is critical to community wellbeing. The food ecosystem can catalyze micro-businesses, celebrate social and cultural diversity, address environmental issues, and improve the health of every individual.
CCD organizations work in neighborhoods with underutilized land, health problems, contaminated and abandoned buildings, and job shortages. Urban agriculture is a catalyst to address these issues while demonstrating why God’s Creation is a testimony to His power and love for us – providing all we need to thrive.
