Description
It started with two questions by community members…A returning citizen was frustrated and asked “how do they expect me to succeed?”…followed by a statement and question from a college student, “I have questions and they don’t get answered on Sunday, where do I go?” Following a survey of residents it was decided that this Church plant needed to be different and it required a different type of Ministry with resources, in one place, so that all segments of the community could access. It is imperative that bridges are built based on the needs and that there is a fluid and flexible weekly gathering that embraced the gift of the Gospel. This workshop session will explore the complexities and the shaping of a Market Place Ministry so that one avoids a stagnant transactional model. Speaker: Charles Cheek, Kecia St. Clair
