Lisa Rodriguez-Watson and Matthew Watson are pastors, leaders, and practitioners who have spent the last two decades mobilizing people of faith toward reconciliation, justice, and mission. They live in Washington, DC and serve on the pastoral team at Christ City Church, a multicultural congregation in the city. Lisa, a proud Cuban-American—serves as the National Director of Missio Alliance, a generative intercultural network of Christian leaders, and she speaks and writes at the intersection of spiritual formation, justice, and mission, contributing to several edited volumes on the church’s witness and leadership. Matthew’s work has spanned churches, nonprofits, universities, and international settings, from partnering with communities in Nigeria to mentoring initiatives in Fresno, and mission leadership in Memphis. He now also serves as a Church Consultant with the Iwa Collective, helping congregations reimagine discipleship and mission. They are parents of three and love calling the church into faithful, neighbor-centered practice.
