Description
In Jeremiah 1:10 God asks a question: “Jeremiah, what do you see?” The conversation that follows is the foundational interpretive lens for how we think about engaging young adults who are living at the intersections of multiple marginalized identities. As prophetic practitioners, I believe this question could be posed in our day and in our time. This workshop is about the inevitable victory of the kingdom over empire, the need for using the right lenses and asking the right contemporary questions today. We will talk about the need for new wine skins and the the stories in scripture that pave the way for that exciting work. Speaker: Tamice Spencer-Helms
