Building the inclusive economy at the heart of the beloved community is a requirement for effective, sustainable and human-centered community development and wellbeing. Reclaiming and restoring under-resourced communities requires intentional engagement in local economic development.
Working alongside community entrepreneurs as they solve problems and create value for the community has transformational potential for the local economy. For 18 years, Rising Tide Capital has worked with under-resourced entrepreneurs who build businesses that shape economic wellbeing for individual, family and community flourishing. In this workshop, we’ll share experiences, map economic ecosystems and explore steps for engaging local entrepreneurs in community transformation.
