Description
People everywhere struggle to thrive after experiencing life challenging events – adverse childhood experiences, toxic stress, community violence, etc. Research shows the compounding effects of adverse life experiences in low income communities are significant. How do we cultivate a sense of healing in our neighborhoods? Programs and individual interventions are critically important, but how do we invest in allowing the space of a neighborhood to bring wholeness? This workshop explores models of trauma-informed community building to help you develop a framework for wholeness.
