2019 CCDA National Conference — Dallas Workshop
Ministry Formation in the Marketplace –Rev. Dr. Sidney Williams
This workshop will equip pastors and church leaders of established congregations to overcome obstacles to growth. Attendees will learn to leverage multiple sources of capital (beyond the offering plate) to fund transformative ministries. Specifically, participants will learn how to access and cultivate intellect within their congregation and social capital within the community. Congregations in under-resourced communities will be encouraged to develop partnerships with entrepreneurs and to explore collaborative models with large corporations to make a meaningful social impact and address wealth inequality.
