Description
How do we form partnerships in ministry that provide dignity and lasting connection? How do partnerships form across unequal access to power and privilege? This workshop expands on the CCDA value of Empowerment and seeks to show how empowerment and humility are different sides of the same coin. It calls those in power to take up the Biblical call to humility in order to empower those the serve and partner with in ministry. Participants will hear personal stories of ministry in Cleveland, OH and receive hand outs to process their own context. They will identify those relationships God is calling them to empower and those places they are being called to take up the ministry of humility.
