About Ron Spann
Ron Spann is a retired priest in the Episcopal Diocese of Michigan. He was a charter member of CCDA and served as secretary of the Board for its first 3 years. He also contributed to writing a chapter on co-op housing in Jill Shook’s book, “Making Housing Happen.” Currently, in retirement, Ron serves as a spiritual companion (director), lives in Detroit with wife Jackie, a retired public school principal. Both have a married daughter, Shannon, who is serving as Episcopal Bishop of Vermont. Shannon is the mother of their one grand daughter. Their son, Seth, is a caterer and aspiring chef in Detroit.
