The primary mission of every Christian is to love God and to love neighbors. Unfortunately, many seminaries ignore training church leaders on how to guide their congregations in engaging their local community. In this course, Zac Martin helps to fill this training gap by teaching church leaders how to guide their congregation in fulfilling this primary mission.
Husband, father, activist, organizer and pastor, Zac Martin is the executive director of Trellis, a community development non-profit working in Brooklyn that helps build neighborhood collaborations to address injustice. With more than 15 years of pastoral experience in large and small church settings, leading and being a part of teams, Zac’s heart is to inspire, encourage and equip the faith community to play a more central role in serving, blessing and supporting the neighborhoods their communities meet in.
