Small Church Big Table coaches faith leaders who want their communities to be more welcoming of LGBTQ people but need a roadmap to get there. We do not have our own agenda for an outcome (e.g., affirming or not affirming) but curate a safe space for leaders to find their own way forward, being faithful to scripture and their context.
We’ll help you map out how to take the diversity of viewpoints and experiences in your community on a healthy, non-explosive process of discernment. We help you:
- Assess leadership readiness for LGBTQ conversations
- Create plan for discernment process
- Build curriculum customized to your congregation/organization
- Understand relevant scripture (not just “clobber” passages)
