Thinking Theologically about Development What Does Our Work Say about God

$5.00

  • Description

Description

As activists among those experiencing poverty and oppression, we often first ask ourselves: What can we do? Our activism often leads us to being immersed struggles with power, agency, policy, and advancement. Yet, with little theological reflection, activism can be carried by its own inertia or unquestioned assumptions. As Christians, we have theological resources to help us stop and instead first ask: Who is God? In this workshop, I will draw on one such resource (Matthew 18), to help us reflect theologically on our development practices. Speaker: David Chronic
