Description
Many white individuals aspire to anti-racism but struggle to translate intentions into meaningful action. How can we move beyond platitudes to embodied practices that foster true belonging? Drs. Paul Hoard and Ron Ruthruff have spent three years grappling with this challenge in a theological institution. Examine psychological and theological barriers to anti-racist action, particularly the temptation to protect an idealized self-image. Through discussion and practical tools, participants will explore strategies for fostering equity and inclusion in churches, schools, and agencies, equipping leaders to build a credible, community-rooted anti-racist practice.
