Many financial literacy approaches just aren’t built for the realities, needs, and experiences of marginalized people. Is it possible to paint a vision for financial flourishing apart from the American Dream narrative? We will think together about how to make financial education positive, practical, holistic, and hopeful to better serve our neighbors. Practitioners will hear research findings, discuss best practices, simulate activities, and leave with tools to help them consider ways to approach financial education programs that will work in their own contexts.
