Description
This workshop trains church and ministry leaders with practical steps to organize and facilitate “Know Your Rights/Safety Planning” (KYR/SP) workshops in their communities, particularly supporting immigrant neighbors facing the threat of deportation. Drawing on biblical principles of justice and neighborly love, attendees will address the 4th and 5th Amendment protections, outline safety planning strategies, and discuss how to support at-risk immigrants with practical tools. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of how to walk alongside immigrant congregants and community members in a manner that upholds dignity and fosters communal flourishing.
