Empowering Financial Education Aimed at Restored Community

$5.00

2019 CCDA National Conference — Dallas Workshop

Empowering Financial Education Aimed at Restored Community — Mark Bowers & Eugene Norris

What story leads to financial flourishing? If we tell the wrong story, we risk changing people who are poor into middle class consumers, simply exchanging one form of bondage for another. Attendees are invited to consider a story of change that transforms how one imagines the journey to financial wholeness. This workshops will examine goals for financial education among low-income learners aimed at more than just wealth building. Then, engage with practical tools to help facilitate this new kind of learning community.
