Description
This workshop invites community development practitioners to experience the Parable of the Unforgiving Servant (Matthew 18:21–35) from the inside. Through an immersive simulation rooted in the realities of grant funding, organizational debt, and competing community needs, participants will discover how scarcity mentality shapes decision-making and how internalized oppression turns the marginalized against the equally marginalized. Facilitators Abby Endashaw, Mahlet Mamo, and Daniela Lazaro-Manalo will guide participants through retelling, embodied experience, and restorative circle process debrief. Attendees will leave with the Parable of Peace Workbook and a restorative circle process framework to reimagine liberative pathways to living in community.
