Description
This workshop explores how churches can move beyond charity-based models toward sustainable economic transformation in their communities. Participants will learn how congregations can function as community economic anchors through social enterprise, entrepreneurship development, workforce pathways, and partnerships with local businesses. Drawing on examples from Black church traditions and contemporary faith-based initiatives, the session will equip leaders with practical frameworks for turning church assets, people, property, partnerships, and purchasing power into engines of community flourishing.
