$5.00

2019 CCDA National Conference — Dallas Workshop

Accompanying and Advocating for Asylum Seekers in an Anti-Immigrant Age — Rev. Dr. Alexia Salvatierra, Rev. Dr. Robert Chao Romero

In Southern California, Matthew 25/Mateo 25 and other CCDA affiliated individuals and organizations have been working together to respond to the flood of Central American and other asylum seekers at the Mexican border and now spreading throughout the U.S. This workshop will provide best practices for sponsoring, supporting and advocating for these families that embody CCDA principles, engaging and empowering immigrant leaders and working in relationship with churches. As new challenges rise up, the Spirit of God provokes new and exciting responses which give glory to his name!
