Practice CCD in relationship with others who are proximate to you.
A CCDA Local Network connects practitioners within a particular geography, such as a city, metro area, county, state, or broader region. Local Networks help people practice Christian Community Development (CCD) in relationship with others who share responsibility for the flourishing of that place.
Find a Local Network
You don’t have to practice CCD alone. Explore Local Networks across the country and find practitioners working toward community flourishing in your area.

From Our Local Networks
Every Local Network contributes at least one Network Offering each year, sharing learning, expertise, stories, or resources with the wider CCDA community. Below are some examples:
Interested in Starting a Local or Regional Network?
Local Networks launch during two primary cycles each year: once in the spring and once around the CCDA National Conference. From initial interest to launch, the process generally takes about 3–4 months and includes discernment, onboarding, launch preparation, and early support from CCDA.
The next review of Local Network interest forms will take place in January 2027, with approved Networks launching in April 2027.
Potential Local Network Connectors should be active CCDA members and/or have been engaged with CCDA within the past six months. Not sure whether your membership is active? Click here.
Below are the core commitments involved in starting a Local Network. You can find the full expectations, leadership responsibilities, and Network journey in the handbook below.
| Commitments | What It Looks Like |
|---|---|
| Shared leadership | Form with at least four active paid CCDA members and establish a shared leadership structure. |
| Quarterly connection | Provide at least one Network gathering or connection point each quarter. |
| Network Offering | Contribute at least one offering each year to the wider CCDA community. |
| Relationship with CCDA | Connect quarterly with CCDA staff and participate in annual reflection. |

Thank you for considering or continuing to lead a CCDA Local Network. We believe Local Networks are part of the heartbeat of CCDA: places where practitioners are known and connected, wisdom is shared, the CCD philosophy is lived out in context, new leaders emerge, and relationships grow into collaboration and faithful action. We pray that what God is cultivating in one place can strengthen another, and that what is being learned within one community can equip practitioners across the Association.
If this is the kind of community you want to help cultivate, we would love to begin the conversation. You can complete the steps above and submit the interest form. Have questions about local networks? Email info@ccda.org.
