Description
Global supply chains quietly drain wealth from our neighborhoods, reducing people to consumers and commodities. But what if the church took seriously the call to love our neighbors by spending time with them? This workshop explores how supporting local businesses is an act of resistance against economic forces that strip communities of agency and dignity. We’ll examine practical strategies for redirecting dollars into local economies, why proximity matters for flourishing, and how congregations can anchor an economy that sees people as image-bearers—not line items. We share this not as experts, but as practitioners learning from the ground up.
