Come learn from Mike Peters, a Little Traverse Bay Band Odawa citizen with a rich family history. His family is one of the oldest Native families in Grand Rapids, Michigan. His grandfathers included Chief Me-tay-wis and Chief Wahsaquam; his uncle was Chief Isaac Peters. He is an ordained minister whose contextual ministry is bringing a new spiritual awakening among the Three Fires Alliance and across North America. Learn about the trauma Christianity has had on the Native American Indian in Michigan, both in the past and present, and how we are presently enculturating Christ into our cultural sacred ways.
