It’s with great excitement and anticipation that we announce the search for the next C.E.O. / President of Christian Community Development Association (CCDA). The CCDA Board of Directors has been meeting, praying, and planning for the identification and hiring of our new leader. We have an intense search process outlined which will help us discern the right person to lead CCDA in this next season.
It does not take being around CCDA members long to realize we are all CCDA. The spirit of CCDA is embodied in the people who have joined God’s transforming work in communities all over the U.S., and beyond. We envision the next era of CCDA will be led by a person with passion to see wholistically restored communities, who is concerned with the people on the ground and the work at hand, who will be carrier of the of the ideas, a champion of leaders, and an amplifier of the voices. An future-focused, experimentally-minded leader who also recognizes the sacred task of holding and stewarding the legacy of our past. We may not yet know who this person is, but we do know God is preparing the way and the person for this critical role. And we are thrilled to have a role in ushering in the next leader and the next era for CCDA.
