The Voices School for Liberation and Transformation has graciously created two unique certification opportunities for CCDA National Conference attendees.
The Voice School is a collaborative of scholars, a network of leading influencers, and a community of learners committed to pursuing positive change through educating, inspiring, and training leaders of color for influence in academia, business, politics, media, faith, art and culture. It is a decolonized, higher ed, online learning community centered in the culture of people of color.
Certification Opportunities
CTF 501 Community Transformation (3 units)
Explore the challenges and models of transformational change within 21st century
communities, particularly those on the edges of society, while developing a Christian
framework for holistic development, organization, and advocacy.
CCDA Experiences to fulfill class time requirements (in addition to assignments listed below)
Attend Main Session Plenary Sessions with speakers:

Attend Workshop Sessions:
- Overview of CCD Philosophy, Theology and Practice
- Racial Healing and Reparations
- Measuring the Gap between Neighborhood and Church
CTF 502 Organizing Communities for Transformation (3 units)
Deconstruct the relations between marginal communities and broader contextual
problems with a focus on advocacy.
CCDA Experiences to fulfill class time requirements (in addition to assignments listed below)

Requirements for completion for each certification

- Attend – All Main Plenary Sessions and Workshops as outlined above
Assignments
- 1200-word Journal entry for each Main Plenary Session and Workshop
- 1600 – 2000-word final paper answering the question, “What is a faithful approach
to marginalized communities for community transformation within your context?”
