Description
Building upon CCDA’s Equitable Mutuality and Cultural Intelligence values, this interactive workshop is designed for emerging leaders seeking to deepen their racial literacy and leadership skills using Dr. Yolanda Sealey-Ruiz’s Racial Literacy Development Model. Participants will engage in self-reflection, dialogue, and action planning to enhance their capacity for leading with racial awareness, equity, and inclusivity. Attendees will explore how personal identity and experiences influence their leadership practice and engagement with diverse faith and community groups. Leaders will be better equipped to drive meaningful change within their institutions, organizations, and communities by fostering a deeper understanding of race, history, and empathy.
