Description
In this workshop, one ordained leader and two lay participants at BattleField Farm share what they are learning about doing church differently by describing their community organizing for food justice work in Knoxville, and by inviting attendees into a reflective and conversational workshop about noticing and honoring the work that brings them joy and energy. Together, we’ve found that our passion-fueled work for local food justice has made space to include people on the margins, tangibly worked to bring kingdom peace and justice to our community, and built a spirituali(ish) community around mission, not identical beliefs.
