Description
The Civil Rights Movement changed America through the power of nonviolence. Just before Dr. King was killed in Memphis, he told Dr. Bernard LaFayette that it was time to institutionalize and internationalize nonviolence. Since that day in 1968, Dr. LaFayette and another movement leader, David Jehnsen, have taught nonviolence and codified its principles and methods in the Kingian Nonviolence curriculum. This workshop will introduce these resources as a tool belt that can hold a range of community development tools.
