What is Membership?
For the past 25 years, CCDA and over 1,000 associated organizations have been pursuing a common vision to see wholistically restored communities with Christians fully engaged in the process of transformation. CCDA is strategically positioned to lead efforts across our country to address poverty and issues of injustice. We do this by supporting the work of local Practitioners (individuals, churches and organizations located in under-resourced neighborhoods and directly practicing the 8 Key Components of CCD) and Partners (individuals, churches and organizations providing needed support for Practitioners) coming together around a common vision and exercising our voice on the national stage.
Our goal is to have Practitioners and Partners joining together as active CCDA members, ensuring the ongoing mission of CCDA to inspire, train, and connect Christians who seek to bear witness to the Kingdom of God by reclaiming and restoring under-resourced communities.
As one of our members stated, “[We] are a member of CCDA because we are committed and indebted to the work of the [association]. [Our organization] would not have begun without the work and people of CCDA.”
We believe it takes all kinds of people working together to realize our bold vision and mission. Whether you or your organization are a Practitioner, directly practicing the philosophy of CCD in your community, or you or your organization are a Partner, supporting the work of CCD through time, talent, or treasure, you play a vital role.
