2020 was always set to be an important year with the census and election, but COVID and more murders of unarmed black men and women have shown us what we already knew – that when the white community gets a cold, communities of color get pneumonia and die. This is not new for us here at CCDA and it is also not a time for our leaders to stand, ill-equipped on the sidelines. In this critical moment, we have to lean in more deeply. We need to force the hand that is writing our history. We MUST do this together. #weareccda
So CCDA family, gather yourselves, your staff, your church, your community, your youth to this virtual CCDA table. Together let’s mobilize in this critical moment, sowing deeply into the movement of community flourishing. Let us purpose as a collective, to change the systems that perpetuate brokenness until justice flows like a river and righteousness like a never-ending stream.
