Christian Community Development Association (CCDA) is a network of Christians committed to seeing people and communities experience God’s shalom. For nearly 40 years, our association has shared the journey of seeing Christians fully engaged in the process of transformation in their communities.
Within our co-branded books, we prioritize learning from BIPOC and marginalized leaders, CCD practitioners, communities, theologies, and frameworks. We believe that as readers increase their knowledge of Christian Community Development philosophy and praxis, it will increase their capacity to live, neighbor, and advocate well alongside their community.
CCDA partners with InterVarsity Press to publish a line of co-branded books that align with both organizations’ shared values of justice and community development. Our partnership has helped shape key conversations in the church, whether on the topics of hands-on ministry or in the areas of justice, race, and reconciliation. All the authors of books in our co-branded collection are nationally recognized experts in the work of Christian Community Development.

Do you Want to Partner with CCDA and IVP?
Are you a CCDA member who has written a book that you think would be a good fit? Do you want to write a CCD-related book but don’t yet have a publisher?
Writing a book is hard; finding the right publisher can be even harder. A CCDA and IVP co-branded book is an opportunity for you to get your book out into the world, inspiring and connecting people to the life and community-changing work of Christian Community Development.
Here’s How it Works…
Step 1. Complete the proposal form.
Step 2. A CCDA staff member will review your submission.
Step 3. If your book aligns with CCDA’s vision, values, and mission and meets the co-branding guidelines, CCDA will refer the author to IVP to begin the IVP book proposal process.
Please note that submitting the form does not guarantee a referral to IVP, and submitting a book proposal does not guarantee publication.
