Description
Intergenerational trauma in the dominant community (i.e. – white Americans) has not been properly recognized and identified; therefore leading to the further perpetration of trauma on all communities (particularly communities of color). In this workshop, we will offer an analysis of the reality of intergenerational trauma and walk through practical ways that communities can move towards healing that trauma. We will pay particular attention to the unresolved trauma of white America and the negative consequences of this trauma.
