Connections Pastor

Rainier Avenue Church’s Connections Pastor is a community builder who loves the church, and loves bringing people together and helping them grow in community as part of the church. The connections pastor plays a vital role fostering discipleship by creating opportunities for people to fellowship, serve, and journey together in their walk with Christ. Through pastoring congregants, fostering small groups, and coordinating volunteer leaders and teams, they will be responsible for helping someone go from being a newcomer to becoming a committed, connected, and growing member of our congregation. We are looking for a people person who loves building community, understands the unique context of church, and has experience identifying and empowering volunteer leaders to do their best work.
