Website Charis Health Center
Providing accessible, affordable & quality healthcare services
Our mission
Our Mission is to deliver quality, compassionate healthcare and health education to those without insurance or the ability to pay for the services they need to ensure our community’s physical and spiritual well-being.
Our vision
The Vison of Charis Health Centers is that of a healthy, hopeful, Christ-centered community where treatment for physical and spiritual health needs are available and integrated for all.
Who we are
Charis Health Center was founded in 2007 by the InterChurch Council of West Wilson County to fulfill a Biblical calling to care for the sick. Recognizing a significant gap in healthcare for working individuals without insurance, especially in western Wilson County, the community came together to create a solution. Overloaded local health services and schools with many low-income families highlighted the urgent need for accessible healthcare.
In response, a dedicated team formed Charis Health Center, establishing it as a non-profit with a mission to provide affordable, holistic care. Charging just $30 per visit, Charis welcomes everyone, focusing on both physical and spiritual well-being. Volunteers and staff offer comfort, fellowship, and prayer, creating a supportive environment. Charis Health Center stands as a beacon of hope, treating the whole person and emphasizing that true health encompasses both body and spirit.
