What is the NSLI?

As a part of CCDA’s National Conference, the National Student Leadership Intensive (NSLI) is a two-day event designed specifically for student leaders. This Intensive promises to engage, equip and encourage youth to have a deeper understanding of what Christian Community Development is all about…and leave ready to take action!

The NSLI will include:

  • Dynamic Bible Studies
  • Practical teachings and wisdom from CCDA’s emerging leaders
  • A CCD-focused tour of New Orleans
  • Crazy fun evening activities

…and so much more!!

Who Should Attend?

CCDA is looking for 75 student leaders who demonstrate proven leadership abilities, a spirit of creativity, and a passion for helping their community. Students must also be…

  • Aged 15-19 years old
  • Committed followers of Christ
  • Interested in Christian Community Development and issues of social justice

Registration includes all meals: Friday dinner through Saturday dinner.

Lodging & Location

The NSLI will begin and end at the National Conference host hotel:

All other activities for the NSLI will take place at:

*NSLI youth will be transported by a chartered bus.

4:00pm Orientation Concert, Panels & Dinner
6:45pm CCDA Plenary (Parents encouraged to attend)
9:00pm Load bus; transport to church for sleepover
10:00pm Late night activities

Saturday, 9/14

 
8:00am Breakfast
8:45am Morning Bible Study & Group Conversations
10:30am Leave for Community Excursion
11:00am Cable Car Ride
12:00pm Café Reconcile
1:30pm Cable Car Ride & Ministry stops
3:00pm Return
4:00pm Bus Ride back to Gentilly Baptist Church
4:45pm Closing Challenge and Dinner
6:30pm Return to The Hyatt Hotel
6:45pm CCDA Plenary (Parents encouraged to attend)
9:00pm NSLI ends
