Body and Soul

We care about practitioners’ health and we want you to leave the conference refreshed in mind, body and soul. Take time to pray, exercise and let us watch your children for a session or two.

Childcare

“Falling for Jesus” is the theme of this year’s childcare at the conference. With games, educational activities, swimming (for older kids), and an appearance by CCDA’s resident clown, Theado, the Childcare Room is a great place for the youngest members of our CCDA family to interact and learn. Due to space restrictions and limited numbers of volunteers, CCDA can accept a maximum of 24 children per session; children will be accepted on a first come, first served basis. Nursing mothers are welcome to use the room as needed. Childcare takes place in room 314.

Prayer Room

Open daily and staffed with volunteers to pray and counsel, the Prayer Room is a great resource for those needing refreshment and quiet space. Visit room 311 at any time during the conference to seek or serve in prayer. Look out for the volunteers around the conference wearing t-shirts that say, “Can I pray for you?” Feel free to stop them any time to request prayer.

Dinner Tours

Don’t want to eat dinner on your own? Do you like good food and want to get out, into the city? Sign up at the Info Booth for the daily dinner tour, planned and hosted by the fabulous members of the Indianapolis Host Team. On Thursday, we’ll visit a neighborhood spot, Unleavened Bread Cafe; Friday, the bus goes to Shapiro’s Deli; and Saturday, we’ll eat Cajun Creole at Yats on Mass Avenue. Meet across from the 2nd floor Starbucks at 5:15pm. Buses leave at 5:30pm each evening and return by 6:45pm. There is no fee for the dinner tour; bring cash for dinner.

Morning Walk/Run with CCDA’s CEO

Enjoy the White River State Park and get your workout through an early walk or run with Noel Castellanos. Meet across from the 2nd floor Starbucks at 6:30am. Participants will return to the hotel by 7:30am. Thursday and Friday only.

Zumba

Running not your thing? Join this energetic workout that gets its moves from salsa rhythms. It’s sure to leave you feeling ready for the day. Zumba takes place each morning from 7:20am to 8:15am. NOTE: The room listed in the program book is incorrect; Zumba will be in room 209.
